UrAtWork is a non-profit organization, incorporated by Emerald Consulting for the purpose of High Performing Communities in Antioch, East Contra Costa County and beyond.  The High Performing Community model is a trademark of Emerald Consulting,  and by permission, has been adapted for the purpose of developing high performing communities that effectively engage youth populations.

The UrAtWork slogan is “Building High Performing Youth Communities Now and Together.” That brief statement captures the essence of both the mission and vision for UrAtWork. 

UrAtWork Scope of Work

            Since it began, the scope of work has included organizing, building and incubating community collaborative models for the purpose of developing safe, well educated, and high performing youth and families. The purpose includes conducting data based research, studies and reports to inform the community; publishing public interest educational materials; conducting public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures; workshops and training.  UrAtWork will also act as a support and resource for relevant community initiatives.

            Currently  UrAtWork houses it's first major High Performing Communities initiative, The Youth Intervention Network, in Antioch, California.
